National Union for Small Scale Farmers in Zambia (NUSFAZ) is a farmer-led initiative established in 2014 to empower small-scale farmers by addressing challenges like limited market access, financing, and information gaps. The Union advocates for farmers' representation in policy-making and promotes sustainable agricultural practices.
To have a society where men, women, and youth small-scale farmer members are assertive, business-minded, and self-motivated to actively participate in the agriculture industry, making a decent living without feeling marginalized.
Transforming small-scale farming ventures into successful commercial entities by providing coordination, networking opportunities, advocacy, capacity building, and promoting environmentally and economically sustainable agricultural practices.
Founded in response to the neglect of small-scale farmers, NUSFAZ has been advocating for better representation and support since 2014. Despite initial challenges, including opposition from existing organizations, we have grown into a formidable force advocating for the interests of small-scale farmers across Zambia.
Empowering farmers with access to finance, market opportunities, and the support needed to succeed.
